Imonisa has updated its warranty policy for the HGY 12V generator set in its primary power supply mode, providing comprehensive protection for the entire unit while offering forward-looking operational and cost management for critical applications and projects.
To provide clear and transparent warranty information, comprehensive equipment protection, and optimized operating costs for critical project applications, Yimonisha has unveiled its new warranty program for the HGY 12V series generator sets, continuing to set the industry benchmark. This program covers the entire generator set—including the engine, the generator, and the control system—thereby eliminating the need for partial warranties on individual components. Simultaneously, it offers customers a robust and reliable after-sales framework to enable efficient, forward-looking management of their generator sets.
For PRP and COP applications, where the generator set serves as the primary power source or a variable load, the warranty period is 2 years or 8,760 hours.
This warranty policy enables customers to more easily plan maintenance, manage consumables, and reduce unplanned downtime, thereby directly impacting generator availability and total cost of ownership. It effectively mitigates both technical and financial uncertainties, ensuring that service, maintenance, and operation all adhere to the same warranty standards.
For Emergency Power Supply (ESP), Data Center Power Supply (DCP), and Limited Time Power Supply (LTP) applications, the generator sets operate as backup power sources during grid failures, with an annual operating limit of 500 hours, ensuring rapid response, reliability, and safety during critical moments. Yimonso offers a service option featuring an extended warranty period of three additional years.
Manuel Aguilera, Global Service Director at Imonisa, stated: "This update to the warranty period has enabled Imonisa to standardize its warranty coverage, service, and maintenance guidelines. This not only enhances customer confidence in the product but also effectively reduces operational uncertainties, while optimizing product availability and total cost of ownership throughout its lifecycle."
